Sausage Ryes
1 lb. Johnsonville Hot Italian Sausage
1 lb. lean ground chuck
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 8oz. can mushrooms, well drained
1 loaf party rye bread
Brown the meats. Add cheese and cook until it melts. Add seasonings and mushrooms; mix well. Spead on slices of party rye. (These could be frozen now. Place on baking sheet and freeze. Store in a plastic bag).
To serve, heat under broiler until hot and bubbly.
Baking time 5-10 minutes.
Options: Cheese may be sprinkled on top before broiling.
