Lemon Bars
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice (or lime juice)
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Sift together 2 cups flour and sugar. Cut in margarine. Pat in 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Beat eggs at high speed for 4-5 minutes. Add sugar and juice. Sift flour and baking powder and add egg mixture. Pour over baked crust and bake 25 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar over top while still warm.
